The PTQ modules allow Quantum and Unity processors to communicate directly with foreign devices and networks, providing greater interface flexibility, reduced time and costs and simplified installation and startups.
The PTQ modules have two serial ports, one programming/status port (RS-232-only) and one Ethernet port. The two serial ports are application ports allowing easy connectivity to foreign devices (RS-232/422/485). Since data is exchanged between the serial network and the processor using the internal database, these modules are the ideal solution where Quantum and Unity processors need to communicate with foreign devices and networks.
