East Coast Tank Farm Automation Project

The East Coast Tank Farm Automation Project involves 15 tank farms from Florida to Upstate New York. Hess needed to automate these locations to gain better control of existing equipment, reduce costs and provide a better management of physical personnel resources. By utilizing the Limitorque DDC-100 Technology, Hess was able to obtain the desired diagnostic data interface directly with the DDC-100 network from the PLC5 via a ProSoft 3100-LTQ module.
